I know it's been a while, but a couple of weeks ago I revealed that I would be hosting a Halloween Costume Contest for us bloggers. Rather than link you back to the original post, here's the skinny about it:
Using the character creation tools in various games, let's post the pics of our creations on our blogs and have a vote for which one is the best. We'll have separate categories for each game used and vote for our favorites from each game, as well as an overall best costume.
We can use literally ANY game that has a character creator. Since I'm tying into the holiday, we'll host our voting and all that on October 22nd, about a week before Halloween, so we can properly announce the winners just before the October QuOTM.
We had a few people interested last time, namely Siphen.0, JoseOmatic, and jedi_timmy. Since that post, I have also looked into an easy way for people without any creation tools already in their gaming libraries to be involved, and found this Character Creation Station for Saints Row IV on Steam, which is totally free.
I am going to allow up to three entries per game used, with a maximum of six characters per person. Meaning you can do six characters from six unique games, or three characters each from two unique games. You do not have to make six characters total if you don't want to; that's just the maximum. You can do only one if that's all you want to do.
So, if you are interested, then please go ahead and comment here. I will be posting reminders all month long (not constantly, but often enough) to keep driving support. And if you already know which games you will try to use for your characters, please let me know that too so I can be more prepared to keep track of all the entries when the time comes. I personally will be using LBP2 and Saints Row The Third (maybe 4).
