Changes To The Quotes

I've thought about this for a while, and I've decided to allow you guys to contribute some more quotes to each monthly QuOTM post. I'll still be picking a quote for each of my posts, and each of those will still be available in the monthly votes. But I'll also be accepting other quotes from you guys in the voting posts to be included in the voting process. They will not be able to win the big award or the other two categories, but instead I'll be doing a separate award for these quotes. The winners in the community suggested category will be eligible for Quote Of The Year when the time comes, just not the monthly award.

The rules for this are:

1) You cannot give a quote from yourself, it has to be another user's words. I also will require a link with the quote so we can all enjoy the context.

2) The quotes, much like the ones I use, MUST come from the comments on a blog post. They cannot come from a blog post itself, article comments, or walls or anywhere else that is not a blog comments section.

3) Images cannot be included. The quotes must be strictly made up of words.

4) You must include a link to the comment section with the quote so we can all enjoy the context.

I also wanted to mention that I will not be doing the Power Of Suggestion posts anymore, because I just can't keep up with them. But Chilidog has taken up that mantle and created a link hub for all of our community features and events called What’s Up. You guys should check it out, and help Chili keep up with everything going on around here. If it works out the way we hope, the What's Up post will be the centerpiece of the blogs, and should really make connecting to new bloggers and starting community events much easier.
