Because I'm Sure Everyone Is Wondering

I'm not gone and I didn't forget the password to this account. I've had some personal stuff basically take over my life this past month that I really don't want to talk about. I've tried to keep the ULG going with minimal interruption or straying from the norm, but now that it's over for the moment I have some time to really catch my breath and get my shit in order on this side.

So for the most important thing, the quotes will not be having an award this month, but the few quotes posted in July will be combined with August's awards post.
My large, artificial backlog thing that I posted about last month is still happening, and I will be posting about that shortly.
My music feature that I've been mentioning for a long ass time now is not really coming together any faster, and now I'm kind of torn about trying to finish it or turn it into something a bit more realistic. So I think I'm going to post the first part soon, and I'll decide from the reactions there which way to go with it.
I will probably do a major update to the Gaming Dictionary soon, because I feel like it's time. Don't know what it'll cover at this point, but it'll likely be a sizable update.
I'm making no promises here, but I will try to comment more too. And be better about following people. Most of the time I figure I'll find the more important blogs anyways, but that's really dickish of me. Truthfully, I haven't used following so much because I'm still somewhat sore about how it replaced a much better friends system, and ignored it out of spite. But I realize that it's really just causing me to miss some great posts and makes me seem less friendly for some users, and I don't want it to be like that.

I did also want to shamelessly try to plug in a two week old post now that a fellow old-tymer like myself made. His name is That_Reilly_Monster, and he is awesome. And while this was his first post in a long while, he managed to have my favorite post of the entire month with ease, and yet it went largely overlooked. I assume that happened because he's not being followed by all the new people or people who drop those who go inactive for a year, so I did something I pretty much never do on this account: I made a status update and promoted it. And I'm a more than a little disappointed that even with my advertising it, it only managed a meager handful of responses.
