iTuned Down

I have finished downgrading my iTunes from 11 back down to 10.7. There's a lot wrong with 11: it's significantly slower than before to browse in the store, it freezes in the store more often than it works, some of my songs started to skip that never had a problem before and didn't skip when I downgraded, etc. But the worst offense of all is the loss of Cover Flow. Taking album artwork completely out of the songs list was just stupid, and the Expanded Albums view or whatever you call it is a terrible replacement. I want to see EVERY song from EVERY artist while I flip through my album arts. We've been able to do this since 2007. It's inexcusable to me to remove the single most appealing and important feature of the program.

So for now I'll be sticking it out happily with 10.7, hoping that Apple doesn't block me out of the store as time goes on for doing so. It's just so depressing to see iTunes get the MyIGN treatment: fixing what ain't broke by removing features and adding numerous bugs. I mean sure, they did some positive things with 11 too. I can't think of any, but I'm sure there's something. But whatever it might have been, to me it's nowhere near enough to make up for this horrendous update. And unlike these blogs, I'm just not willing to put up with it. My music is far too important to me to settle for an uncomfortable, inferior version. I just hope that in the future, thing change for the better, instead of staying worse.

What does everyone else think? Are you somehow liking iTunes 11, or are you like me?

Also, I'd be happy to advise anyone on how to downgrade if you need to but don't know how.
