Well, I've had a shitty week

Let me apologize for my prolonged silence this past week or so.  It's been a hell of a week to say the least.  It started on my day off, last Tuesday, when my sister got kicked out of her apartment.  With nowhere else to go, she moved in here with me and my mother.  And I had to move all of her stuff, which she had no advanced warning to pack up, out of her third floor apartment by myself, without even so much as an elevator to bring the heavy stuff down in. She was kicked out by her boyfriend, but they haven't broke up and now are in therapy.  None of which is my concern.  I care about my sister and all, and I will absolutely mutilate this douche if he hits her or cheats on her, but I do not need to know the every detail of her relationship with him.  But since she moved in, that's all that she or my mother has been able to talk about and it's driving me mad.

The following day, my truck went to shit.  In total, I'm dropping about five hundred bucks on this thing to get it fixed, and the parts are now a day overdue to arrive (I ordered them online to save money, otherwise I'd be spending over $1000 on these repairs).  So without a car of my own to get to college or work, I had to work out a borrowing schedule with my mother and sister.  And of course, when I borrowed my mother's car it also had problems.  Fortunately for her it was just her battery, and she was able to get that swapped quickly.

But my week isn't over yet, and lots more went wrong.  From my grandfather needing open heart surgery at the age of 83 to a classmate having a seizure right next to me in one of my classes, it just has felt like I have been a harbinger for disaster this past week.  I don't want to go over everything, because I think I'll go crazy if I talk too much more about it.  But now that things have calmed down for a day, I realize that after my vehicle repairs I likely won't be able to get the PS4 I pre-ordered.  Which isn't nearly as big of a deal as the rest of it, but it kind of feels like insult to injury.

My one beam of light this week has been yesterday.  Long before my troubles started, I pre-ordered the new Protest The Hero album Volition, and the new Ayreon album The Theory Of Everything.  Both of which released on the same day, and arrived in the mail yesterday.  I was able to listen to the first disc of the new Ayreon album, which is fantastic.  I might talk about that more later, if I get the time.

So for this blog, I missed doing lots of stuff.  First off, a big thank you to JoseOmatic for participating in the Costume Contest, even when nobody else did.  Secondly, I know I missed my window for the QuOTM this month.  I guess I'll just double up October and November.  I also have some impressions of GTA5, The Last Of Us, and some thoughts on recent IGN headlines to post for you guys, so be looking for more activity from me.

And for those of you who volunteered to help with my next music project, I will be making a post about that soon to give you guys an outline and try to get things actually going.  I'm still really excited about it, but after my delays now I'm thinking we'll probably end up posting it in December or January.  As I said, more on that to come.

I guess what I'm trying to say with this post is, for all of my adoring fan out there:
